Asymmetric Floral Inspiration

I’m seeing a huge floral trend at the moment for bouquets and floral displays that are unusually structured. Gone are the days of symmetry it’s all about interesting silhouettes, differing heights and shapes all making an asymmetric floral statement. It gives a really natural, wild feel and the textures are brought to life by the colours and differing sizes of the flower heads.

Here are a few of my favourites…

I particularly love these lop-sided arrangements. Do you like the wild and unkempt look or do you prefer your florals to be a little more formal and perhaps structured?

  • I love the lop-sided look, it’s so much more natural and wild. I wish there was more of it around!

Lovely feature. I love the wild look- all a bit unkempt with lots of texture. ‘Just picked’ and ‘wild’ flowers are hugely popular at the moment and I think keeping shapes a little lopsided adds to this and makes the flowers truly wild. LOVE.

  • These are gorgeous… so much more interesting and easy on the eye. Lovely feature x

I absolutely love these! so so pretty and I really like the fact they aren’t ‘perfect’. Would look so gorgeous with a floral crown.
