Being a petite lady myself, I loved seeing bride Bantika’s style, with her short but oh so sweet Oscar de la Renta dress. Her and George had a ceremony and reception at the pretty Cambridge Cottage in Kew Gardens, which provided the perfect backdrop for their couple portraits, who knew London could look so… tropical?
Bantika and George chose Cambridge Cottage at Kew Gardens as their venue and location for ceremony for a special reason as it was where they went on a date when they first met.
The day was intimate, yet elegant and relaxed, from the drinks on the lawns, the laid back reception in the ‘lounge’ style decorated room filled with fragrance from Diptyque candles with music from students at The Royal Music Academy. The guests helped themselves to an array of food by Blue Strawberry with the delicious dessert cake topped with fresh strawberries by Laura at the Dessert Deli. They also chose a signature cocktail each which the guests enjoyed!
Bantika had her friend Josh Wood (of Josh Wood Atelier) walk her down the aisle and her best friend Anthony Culver kindly decorated the venue with twinkling candles and created the fresh floral displays. Whilst the couple had their portrait photographs with their wonderful photographer Natalie at Natalie J Weddings the guests enjoyed a tour on the Kew Explorer to take in their surroundings on a perfect day.
Their photographer Natalie, currently has an offer for any couples booking their wedding before 31st January (e.g. a few days!) you’ll receive a free engagement shoot as part of the package. See her website below for how to get in touch and to see more of her work!
