Mini Treats – Amelia Rope Chocolate

Every time I’ve walked into Liberty, I do a little de-tour on my way out through their chocolate section. Yes, because I like the sweet stuff but actually more so because I like the packaging. I get completely sucked in by the beautiful boxes, tied with ribbons, foiled packets and and pretty colours. The one that was catching my eye lately was Amelia Rope Chcolate, with the simple packaging with bright foils and flavours to die for. Amelia is a chocolatier with a huge interest in the history of chocolate and so her bars are luxurious pleasure made to satisfy in small measures.

I found out that as well as the delicious larger bars, you can have the most adorable bespoke mini bars which I think are ideal for wedding treats, nom! You can choose from lots of luxury flavours [such as Dark Peppermint, Pale Rose or Lemon and Sea Salt] but the extra fun bit is you can choose which colour foil to have to work with your colour schemes and which ribbon to finish them off! How cute!

washed up

Now when it comes to keeping invites and favours from weddings I’ve attended, I am a bit of a hoarder. I keep it all {yup, even the ribbon} however these bits n pieces do tend to sit in a box once they’ve had their five minutes {but obviously don’t tell my friends that!}. However, this treacle of a tea towel by The Original Wedding Tea Towel company on the other hand is just splendid. If you are trying to do your little bit for the planet and don’t want to send paper invites or thank you’s then send your guests one of these instead as they definitely won’t be ending up in a box {and at the same price as a letter in the post!}.
They are cute, practical and informative. What’s not to love? I know they’ve done the blog circuit, but I’m featuring them because I like ‘em and that’s how I roll here. Oh and also the fact that I’ve got some exclusive bespoke designs to show you as the clever team, Karen and Ben can even do that for you too. Maybe I wouldn’t mind doing the washing up so much with one of these!

cookie crumbles

You can tell I’m on a diet {ish} at the moment as all I can think about are sweet treats. You see I’m on bridesmaid countdown and the spanx, good as they are, sadly don’t cover me from head to toe and the harder I try to avoid such irrisistable goodies the more I seem to stumble upon.
So not to wander too far from the previous post, check out these irresistable London biscuits from the creme de la cookie ~ Biscuiteers.  If you can resist the whole box {that tin is also quite want-able} then perhaps hand iced cookie favours out with a London theme, tube signs, black cabs or a red phone box. It’s kitsch but I love it.

british aisles

Well I like these British Isles Biscuit Cutters from RE as they are sort of in keeping with my tagline… {bringing style to the british aisles, that is!} Promote your homeland whether you are getting married far or away in the form of cookies! Bake ‘em yourself, place in a cellophane bag, tie with blue and red ribbon and all your guests can have a taste of England to take away.
