Tote-ally Perfect – Pretty Wedding Tote Bags

Posted by & filed under Accessories, Bridesmaid, Gifts, Hen Inspiration.

If you are a regular visitor to this blog, you’ll know I’m a touch obsessed with the alphabet, letters and symbols, so imagine my utter excitement when lovely A-Z gurus, Hayley and Lucas from Alphabet Bags sent me a sneak preview of their brand NEW wedding tote collection. I had to fight the urge to order them all there and then…
Wedding totes have been popular in the states for a while, and I’ve certainly incorporated them a number of times into weddings and hen parties, as let’s face it – a girl can never have too many tote bags [for mags, shoes, secret purchases etc].
They are especially fun for an engagement present, bridesmaid or hen party gifts or just to treat yourself for honeymoon!
Aren’t they just the cutest! Can you guess which one I just HAD to snap up!?
Each hand drawn and screen printed tote is £12.00 however if you are interested in ordering 10 or more then do contact them as they offer a special wedding discount. Oh and in case you are reading this from outside the UK they do ship worldwide.
Visit www.alphabetbags.com to see the full range and to purchase. Credit cards at the ready, which is your favourite?

Party Pants

I am super duper excited as one of my closest friend’s got engaged on Christmas Day. They are one of those couples that have been together as long as me and MM have, we’ve been through the ups the downs the holidays and the drunken dinner parties together and I just simply couldn’t be happier for them. A lovely couple who deserve a fantastic future together. Big love to Perry & Jo.
As you can imagine, as soon as a friend of mine gets hitched it’s hard for me to contain my excitement  but knowing she wants a low key informal affair I’m having to reign in the wedding talk {for now anyway}. I have however, secretly been thinking about her hen party as I know for sure that this gal wouldn’t miss this for the world. She works for a very well known luxury underwear designer so not sure how, but I stumbled across Party Pants who offer ‘stitch before you hitch’ lessons!

Awesome idea for a fun hen do, you get to make your own pair of knockout knickers from this mobile workshop. The ‘Chief Brief’ {love it!} comes to your location with all the goodies such as frills, silks, flowers and lace and of course the sewing machines for you to get ‘under’ way.  Attending a hen do usually is a case of having to get to know each other and there’s no better way over some cake, champers and knicker talk is there and it’s just £30pp for 10 girlies.

too many cooks?

Why is it I always think about food in January? It’s the time I shouldn’t be thinking about all that grub, but I just do. So if you are organising a hen do for a foodie bride to be, then you may well want to book an Afternoon Tea Party class at The Kitchen in Parsons Green.  With a glass of bubbly on hand and a Michelin star chef to guide you, you’ll prepare some scrumptious canapés and then you get to decorate your very own Michelin Star cupcakes. Yum. Just enough room left for another glass of bubbly I reckon…
