Choccywoccydoodah – Nom Nom Nom!

Last week, if you follow me on twitter and facebook you may have seen I spent my Wednesday evening slirping Champagne truffle milkshakes and snarfing a slice of a 12 layer chocolate cake. In other words,  I attended the bloggers teaparty at Choccywoccydoodah’s brand new London shop just off Carnaby Street, nom nom nom!

Choccywoccydoodah have been on my radar for as long as I’ve been in the wedding world but I’d yet had the chance to properly meet any of the team or indeed, visit their shop (they have their first shop in Brighton). They are creators of design focused naughty treats, which are all works of art created out of drippingly delicious Belgian chocolate (I muttered the word icing whilst in there, big mistake, ain’t no icing to be seen here!). It’s decadent, it’s indulgent and rather opulent. I love it!

The shop is a must-visit in itself, it’s like walking into Willy Wonka’s naughty boudoir. Black furniture, velvet fabrics, low light lampshades, blood red walls – it’s a visual feast, not to mention an actual erm…feast. The shop sells lots of treats and gifts (my favourites were the solid chocolate scottie dog and the little chocolate brogues, so cute!) and of course they have on show their unmistakably signature cake sculptures which just ooze ‘eat me’.

Upstairs whilst sipping Champagne milkshakes (the most delicious thing, ever) we were treated to all sorts of goodies whilst chatting and eating lots of cake in the cafe area which is the perfect place for a decadent little treat when you’ve had enough of shopping in the west end. I also hear they are opening up a private floor which I think will be the perfect place for a hen party… hoping to have more info on that soon!

I went along with Dashing buddy and photographer Fanni Williams who took these fabulous pics in between chomping! I also bumped into blogging and industry buddies Alexis and Kat and also the lovely Elbie – hair and make-up supremo, nice to see you girls!

I seem to have been living under a rock as they have their own popular TV show which I’ve yet to see but I can only imagine is thoroughly entertaining as Christine, Daveed and the team are a total hoot and offer a great service. A huge thanks to Choccywoccydoodah for a fabulous event, it was great to meet you and try out your treats!

Here are my slightly grainy instagram pics of the evening. Sorry they aren’t too clear… I was too busy indulging!
