Danielle & Matt had the epitome of a laid back London wedding. With a ceremony at Stoke Newington Town Hall and a reception held at quirky photographic venue, The Roost with a sprinkling of floral crowns and a pretty lace dress this was a gorgeous day captured honestly by Lisa Jane Photography and Mark Brown Films.
There’s a slight floral theme with this day, from the bride’s beautiful floral crown to the Karma Kab bridal car adorned with a cheerful floral garland. Judging by the fun images of the guests smiling and cheering, the day looks super relaxed, as does the bride and groom. Danielle looked gorgeous in her custom lace dress by London based designer, Katya Katya Shehurina with pretty flowers by That Flower Shop.
Who else better to photograph such a day than Lisa Jane, who’s style is unobtrusive and honest, along with the beautiful couple portraits the morning of the wedding and the smiles from parents and kids throughout the day are captured to perfection. The couple also had a wonderfully heart-warming wedding film by Mark Brown Films which I’m so thrilled to also share with you.
We really wanted a laid back, informal atmosphere for the day where all our friends and family would feel relaxed and ready to have fun. The Roost was the first and only venue we saw and the rest of the wedding was pretty much planned on a similar gut instinct!
It naturally lent itself to a haphazard style and needed very little help in theming and scheming, however that didn’t stop us from stringing up metres of bunting, festoon lights and tying ribbons in trees!
The venue is a bit rough around the edges but we thought it was perfect. There were lots of rooms to run off to with plenty of photo opportunities… including even in the toilets!
Congratulations to the happy couple Danielle & Matt, thank you for sharing your gorgeous day!
