A sweet and simple family focussed Hackney wedding, planned in just a week it was a low-key but utterly heartfelt day with a beaming bride and groom celebrating in a local cafe with their family and friends and their adorable little boy.
Olivia and Joe were married in May last year in the simplest sweetest heartwarming day. If you’ve stumbled across the blog looking for small, low key wedding inspiration then let this be it! A testament to how a simplicity is very possible with a London wedding.
The couple had been together for six years, and as they arrived home with a gorgeous newborn, another exciting chapter awaited as they also got engaged that same day.
With a busy family life, planning a wedding alongside might have been hard work, but not for these two who planned everything just the week before the wedding. I think that’s a record on this blog!
With simplicity the key, they chose Hackney Town Hall for the legal civil ceremony – and looking at the beaming smiles as the confetti was thrown, whilst the ceremony may have been low-key, it was certainly just as meaningful for them than if there were 100 guests there. So lovely to see!
They then headed to Esters, a lovely local spot in Stoke Newington for bubbles and cake to celebrate with their family and of course their little boy as photographer Lee from Robbins Photographic captured all the beautiful moments, showing no matter how small the wedding is, definitely invest in a fabulous photographer to capture the memories!
Congratulations to Olivia and Joe on their wonderfully gorgeous and intimate family oriented day, so lovely to see.
