This post is really just to indulge my love of shopping, and in particular my love of shopping at small independent shops, makers and sellers – of which there are a plethora in London.
It’s that time of year where you may well be attending a wedding, or if you’re on the planning side, you may be looking to find some nice gifts for the wedding party or as thank you’s. I thought I’d round up some of my favourite items for a range of budgets that are either made in London or at least from independent sellers in London that I think would make great presents or gifts and are the most part, pretty gender neutral I’d say.
Now all you need to do is click on the link, buy and take all the credit. It’s OK, I won’t tell….

Who doesn’t love a bit of pretty stationery? From notebooks for ‘to-do’s, to cards for bridesmaids or loved ones, prints to pretty the home and bits to brighten the office. We’ve rounded up a few of our favourite picks from the best stationery boutiques and designers.
I cannot be the only paper and stationery obsessed lady out there. In fact, I know full well I’m not, so thought I’d share a few of my favourite pieces such as notebooks, prints, cards and office items that can be found via a few of my go-to paper places and designers.
I’ve done a little round-up of a few of my favourite products, a monochrome vibe and something a little more pretty, so if you are looking for papery goodness for yourself or to send to someone who will also appreciate it then hopefully this will be a useful start!

Super talented UK hand-lettering artist Alison Carmichael who has produced beautiful work for top advertising companies, has a range of really cute coloured letterpress ‘Alice Tags‘ which I just had to share. I really love Alison’s work, and think these would be great tied around bottles for a hen party or they’d make a lovely addition to a gift for your wedding party. They come in a pretty box of 10 tags, inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland including Eat Me, Drink Me, Enjoy Me, Unwrap Me and Love Me – maybe save that one for your other half…
As much as I love a bunch of flowers, or a box of chocolates, they aren’t really the most thoughtful of Valentine’s gifts to give the love of your life are they? So instead I’ve put together a selection of more brownie point earning, well designed and non-tacky gift ideas, which you can clearly pass off as your own! Oh and M if you are reading this? Mine will be the Shanna Murray decal puhlease!
1. A little bit kitsch but it’s time for love with this Tattly Love Watch temporary tattoo!
2. What’s not to LOVE about this print from Keep Calm Gallery?
3. We can’t afford a Tracy Emin original, but you could afford a Kiss Neon Light.
4. I’m a lucky owner of one of these ceramic love rings, so dainty, so cute!
5. Shanna Murray decal from Bodie and Fou, stick on a mirror for a little love message.
6. Totally, For Like Ever this print by Super Rural is a modern classic.
7. A not so subtle message, but put this cute rug by your bedroom door just to make them feel guilty.
What are you doing for Valentine’s? Do you even celebrate it?
