I’m having a nostalgic appreciation of the art of marbling….and I think it’s perfect for your wedding. Remember those rainy Saturday afternoon’s with your family marbling pieces of paper to cover your school text books? Well now you can spend rainy grey days doing pretty much the same but put to much better use…for your wedding! Imagine the DIY opportunities on this one, from place-cards to napkins to well – even your nails, the watercolour marble effect looks so pretty across many decorative touches.
Whilst I’ve seen lots of lovely earthy and neutral tones used in marbling which can be more subtle and sophisticated [black, navy and plum in particular look trés chic] I’ve been inspired by the hope of spring, and the sugar coated catwalks that inevitably come with it, I’ve gone for a mood board of ice cream pastel shades. It all looks good enough to eat doesn’t it? Well those Meringue Girls meringues certainly are…
So here’s my marble inspiration for you to marvel at…

So, who’s going to get their marbelizing craft on? Whilst I’m tempted to give it a try, I’m not entirely sure I’ll just end up losing my marbles instead of creating them…[flashback to frosties, galaxies, and cats eyes!].
