London Bride Loves – Diamonds, Street Food & A Summery Scent

Photography by London Bride

It’s time for a little round-up with another London Bride Loves in London, Lifestyle & Weddings. It’s diamonds, digital magazines, sunshine. summer scents and cheeky nails…

London Bride - Tie The Knot at Alex Monroe Jewwellery

Arrow-RightThis week I attended the ‘Tie The Knot’ launch at my favourite jewellery emporium, the Alex Monroe boutique which also resides in my new favourite part of town, Bermondsey (more on that below). If you’ve not paid a visit to this little gem, you need to get down there. It’s the cutest shop, full of treasures and trinkets and the visual merchandising is total perfection, it’s very hard walking away from there with no bling. As you can see I couldn’t help but try on a few jewels from their new wedding collection which is available online and also exclusively at Liberty’s. They also offer an amazing bespoke service which I chatted to Alex himself about, so boy’s if you’re listening – you know where to go! Hoping to do a full feature soon so keep your eyes peeled.

London Bride Loves – Peonies, Sweet Things + Urban Jungles

A new (hopefully!) feature series on what London Bride Loves; a roundup of life in weddings, London and lifestyle.

In my position as a blogger, Londoner, wedding industry member and general sucker for nice things it’s actually impossible for me to keep you updated with everything I see, like, hear about and do.  So, in honour of at least attempting to share things, I’ll be featuring what London Brides Loves across weddings, London and lifestyle as a round-up post with little snippets instead!

I’d like to try and do these every other week, but let’s see how we go (don’t want to make promises, I have a very busy wedding season coming up!!) but the good news is here is the first!

I can honestly say I’m so honoured to have some truly fabulous suppliers as sponsors for London Bride. I genuinely want to ensure that I’m recommending people that I believe are all very talented and offer a fantastic and stylish product or service, so if you haven’t already done so, do check out their links on the right hand side if you are looking for wedding suppliers for your stylish big day!

This month, I’d like to introduce you and welcome a few new fabulous people who I’m so excited to have on board, so do check them out!

Jannie is a fellow wedding enthusiast, who loves to get to know her brides and hearing all about their wedding plans. Having graduated in Fashion and Design in Copenhagen, Jannie now designs stunning headpieces and hair accessories perfect for the stylish bride. Inspired by eras of Hollywood glamour, Art Deco and French Bohemianishm, the pieces are all handmade, with luxury materials carefully sourced. Having worked with some Jannie Baltzer accessories for my Dashing Magazine issue 2 photo shoot (below) they truly are beautiful pieces and the collection has something for everyone. She’s also an all round lovely lady!

Swit Swoo! Getting married is such a fabulous excuse to treat yourself to some very special and pretty lingerie whether it’s for the wedding day itself or the honeymoon. Get swept up in the romance and take a visit to Ell & Cee which is a boutique full of the most beautiful range of knickers, bras, playsuits, camis and slips in luxury materials to make you feel amazing! Started by fashion graduate Laura Cloke Ell & Cee with stockists including Selfridges and Victoria Secrets, they now have a brand new website dedicated to bridal lingerie and even offer a bespoke design service. If you are a lover of luxury, you must take a seductive!

It’s no secret that we all love tissue paper pom poms! They jazz up an empty space, add a splash of colour and are a fun touch for any wedding or party. Whilst they are relatively easy to make (for crafty types!) they really can be time consuming, especially when there’s lots to get through! I also struggle with getting them really neat and fluffy so I would leave it to the expert – Juliet at Paperpoms UK who creates each one by hand from 80% recycled tissue paper. The paper poms come in a huge array of colours and are supplied flat packed (so easy to transport!) ready to be unfurled which takes just a few minutes each. So much easier!

London Bride Loves…

Today is an exciting day for me, as for the first time in three years I am introducing you to my first amazing sponsors of London Bride! Hurrah!

I held off taking on sponsors as I didn’t want the blog to take a ‘salesy’ approach (or ugly direction with hundreds of ads) and wanted to blog freely about the things I liked, and that you would too. However the wedding industry has grown, as have wedding blogs and along with this, so has the workload haha, so it seems like the right time with the blog re-brand –  to introduce sponsors that London Bride Loves!

As with all things London Bride – I’m very selective with my content and there’s no change there with my sponsors. I’m so proud to have the support of these wonderful and talented people, and that’s why you can see them over there on the right hand side as I just love what they do and I think you will too. Seriously they really are a rather talented and creative bunch!

So without further ado, please allow me to introduce you to…

Cam and Pen are a husband and wife team who are in love, and in love with photography. They say you should follow your passion – and that’s what these guys have done. They love hanging out together and documenting the stories of their life, which underpins why they love weddings and marriage. I think these guys have a knack of capturing really natural but utterly beautiful moments //

Gemma has an MA in illustration, and provides beautiful couture stationery for your wedding that is entirely bespoke, full of personality and that will compliment you and your wedding day perfectly. Whether it’s invitations or a personal portrait Gemma has such a friendly service which I highly recommend and you know that your invitations will be truly unique with her thoughtful designs. You may be familiar with her style as Gemma has had commissions featured in Dashing Magazine //

Chloé and Emma-Jane are two gorgeous ladies based in London and the UK but also travelling all over the world photographing people in love with a fresh and creative perspective. They aim to be discreet and to capture the natural moments as they unravel of those celebrating with their favourite people on their wedding day. You may recognise them as I was lucky enough to have a portrait session with Chloé last year! //

Frou Frou Boutique

Froufrou Bridal Boutique in Kent inspires to bring out style and creativity in every bride. This contemporary chic boutique is for the style-conscious bride wanting a truly individual look for her wedding day. They have a stunning collection of gowns, stocking some of my favourite designers such as Matthew Williamson and David Fielden, as well as US names such as Ivy & Aster and Sarah Seven. They also have a small collection of original vintage gowns if you are looking for something truly unique. They also have the cutest looking boutique that looks like the perfect setting to try on pretty gowns! //

Caro is a London and Buckinghamshire based wedding photographer who from the moment the wedding dress goes on, to the first dance will capture the spontaneous, relaxed and beautiful moments throughout your wedding day. Her unobtrusive, individual style and classic portraits make for the most wonderful and beautiful memories. I particularly love her urban city style. //

Alphabet Bags

I’m thrilled to have Alphabet Bags on board as a sponsor! This talented husband and wife team Hayley and Lucas designed this fun collection of totes especially with weddings in mind. Whether it’s for a hen party, as a favour to your guests or a thank you to your bridesmaids (or of course a treat to yourself!) there is a fun and cute tote for every occasion! //

A big thank you to all my sponsors for supporting London Bride and also to you all for coming back time and time again to read this here blog – I don’t say it often enough but I’m so grateful to everyone for allowing me to keep me doing what I love, thank you! xo
