There are lots of really inspirational wedding suppliers from the key areas such as catering, florists, photography, dresses and cake (very key!) to more unique touches such as decorative touches, jewellery and accessories. Shows are perfect for meeting your designer/supplier and asking questions or their advice and seeing their products and services first hand which really does make a difference.
A few suppliers on my must-see shortlist are Daisy Sheldon Embroidery, I am in love with Daisy’s work and her beautiful personalised embroidery makes for wonderful keepsakes (I think embroidery is going to be a key wedding trend in 2017/18!).
Personalisation continues to be a popular theme for me, and I’m besotted by the skills of Rosie from Wolf & Rosie, who hand-paints the most beautiful floral illustrations onto leather jackets for a truly unique addition to your bridal style.
After my recent post on minimalist wedding dresses, Belle & Bunty are one to look out for with their cool, modern take on bridal with dresses and separates perfect for a London Bride. Then there’s stationery from Georgina Creative with their simple but elegant typographic wedding collection designs for those looking for paired back design.
My couples can’t seem to get enough of interactive food and catering ideas, so travelling oyster bar Mother Shuckers are a perfect reception addition and talking point for guests. If you are looking for talking points, and entertainment, stop by the Portrait Machine… I’ll leave you to check them out but it’s guaranteed fun!
With a theme of Pinktopia and Electric Dreams (!) there will be inspiration overload everywhere, so take notes, take snaps and make sure you are in pole position for the fashion show and if you want to get some more insight make sure you follow Most Curious over on Instagram so you can find out a little bit more about who’s going to be there.
