Laura and Alex had a summery relaxed Islington ‘London’ focussed wedding with a Town Hall ceremony and restaurant reception, with the bride in a stunning peachy pink wedding dress!

Islington Wedding London and Pink Needle & Thread Wedding Dress by Miss Gen Photography

Couple Laura and Alex had a perfectly relaxed summer’s day wedding in Islington for their day in August. Starting at Islington Town Hall for their ceremony they then took some time out for some portraits in the nearby streets with their photographer Gen. We adore bride Laura’s peachy pink Needle & Thread wedding dress, and think Alex makes an equally dashing groom in his bespoke Alexandra Wood suit!

We love the capture of all the little looks during the ceremony and those of the couple with their little girl as a family, so cute! The little touches during the day from the tube themed tables to the mixed CD’s were lovely ways to personalise their restaurant reception, and I just have to mention that wedding cheese cake…it looks amazing and I imagine the guests enjoyed tucking into that!

East Meets West Elegant Landmark London Wedding

WEDDINGS, Elegant

Photography by Sarah Gawler

Cora and Michael had a wedding combining the traditions of the East and West at the Landmark London followed by an amazing Chinese Banquet reception, which customary to tradition, the bride wore a number of wedding dresses too!

East meets West Landmark Hotel London Wedding | Sarah Gawler Photography

I absolutely love the contrast of a grand and elegant traditional London ceremony at a luxury hotel with portraits of the couple nearby, with the relaxed reception at the couple’s favourite Chinese restaurant. I’m not surprised Cora couldn’t decide between her two wedding dresses, she looks just stunning in both and have to say, why not wear two?! In fact she did much more and went on to have 5 further outfit changes, including the incredible red traditional Chinese suit which I have to say might be my favourite. The hand embroidery and detail is just incredible and they really do ‘pop’ in the beautiful photography by Sarah Gawler (do check out her beautiful new website!).

Elegant September Home House Wedding London

Libby and Ben had a beautifully elegant September wedding. The bride wore a Jenny Packham dress and bridesmaids in pink by Belle & Bunty with florals by The Flower Appreciation Society against the stunning backdrop of Home House, London.

Home House Wedding London by Caught The Ligh

For any brides planning an elegant London wedding, then this should be all the inspiration you need! Libby and Ben were married in September last year, and it encompasses everything a sophisticated London wedding is about.

From the meaningful Church ceremony to a ride in a white London cab, to the relaxed but grand setting of Home House it was a picture perfect day captured by Caught The Light.

Libby’s style is sophisticated and feminine in her Georgia by Jenny Packham dress, and Ben looks smart and relaxed in his beautiful blue suit. I love that you can still see little pieces of confetti in Libby’s hair throughout the day, the perfect ‘just married’ memento!

I love the slightly undone flowers by The Flower Appreciation Society against the more decadent backdrop of the venue, and the little details in their stationery, the delicious looking naked cake, to the canapés (those mini fish and chips!!) were well thought-through and all tied in beautifully to the day.

Little London Elopement in Chelsea on Christmas Eve

WEDDINGS, Elegant, Informal

Photography by Dominique Bader

After planning a ‘big wedding’ Michael and Ashleigh re-evaluated their plans and chose to have a secret little London elopement on Christmas Eve. Utterly romantic, despite the rain they said ‘I Do’ at Old Chelsea Town Hall followed by enjoying an evening at The Rosewood Hotel for lobster, jazz and cocktails.

Little London Elopement in Chelsea at Christmas by Dominique Bader Photograhphy

There is just something so incredibly romantic and heartwarming about today’s real wedding (complete with umbrella, how typically ‘London’), and it’s such a pleasure to share Michael and Ashleigh’s incredibly intimate day.

It’s not an uncommon story to hear of couples who are planning for a traditional ‘big’ wedding but find during this time the pressure, stress, politics and even finance perhaps all too much and they question their wedding plans. For couples who are quite private people, who may worry about being centre stage an elopement or simple wedding ceremony with just the two of you makes complete sense and that’s just what Michael and Ashleigh chose.

It’s a reminder to us all to not get carried away by what others do, or what we think we should do – and that to be truly happy means being yourselves on your wedding day, whatever way that is. Plus, look how gorgeous, relaxed and happy they are, it clearly was the best decision they made!

I love that on Christmas day they were able to tell their families they were married! What a wonderful Christmas present…

Tom and Eve had a fun and relaxed pub wedding after their town hall ceremony in Stoke Newington. I love bride Eve’s slightly 60s style with her dashing groom and pretty maid all perfectly paired. They added some lovely fun touches such as pom poms, balloons and lights to the pub to ‘prettify’ their pub ‘knees up’.

I’m so pleased to finally be featuring this fabulous modern wedding today that I planned last summer. Katy and Simon were a cool, contemporary couple and I love that this wedding reflects that in every detail. From the meaningful ‘Jew-Ish’ ceremony, to Katy’s amazing ombre pink hair to the roast dinner feast (despite it being August) and the first dance in trainers it was so great working with them as they put their personalities into every element of the day for their Sunbeam Studios wedding.

Part of being a wedding planner is working with some pretty amazing clients, and in some amazing places. Well Gwen and Li-Hur’s wedding was both of these for me. Whilst we had the elegance and luxury backdrop of London’s iconic Claridge’s for the day, this couple loved quirky details, so injected their personalities into the day for their guests to enjoy, with fun touches such as the buttonholes by Fairy Nuff Flowers that were tied with a lego figure, the 80’s evening band that filled the dance floor and the fact that Gwen decided to wear her amazing green leather jacket over her stunning Monique Lhuillier gown for a leather and lace look, all made for a gorgeous spring wedding.

Charlotte Balbier’s Glamorous Idyllic Countryside Wedding

LONDON BRIDE LIFE, WEDDINGS, Elegant

Today I’m sharing a very special wedding as although it’s not actually a ‘London’ wedding, it is a ‘London Bride’ wedding as I was lucky enough to work with the very wonderful Charlotte and Teddy as their wedding planner for their incredible wedding last December at Iscoyd Park, and as it’s coming up to their year anniversary I thought it would be a lovely opportunity to share this day as it was one of my favourites and most certainly one of the most glamorous ever to grace my pages! Charlotte and Teddy were a joy to work with and I was honoured to assist with styling and co-ordinating their very special and glamorous day with an incredible team of wedding industry suppliers and so many beautiful touches.

Being someone who is engaged and working within the wedding industry, you can only imagine how hard it is to plan your own wedding when you have seen so much inspiration, know many talented wedding suppliers and have the world of choice at your fingertips. It’s an overwhelming but privileged position to be in, and one that must have been ten times harder for renowned British bridal designer, Charlotte Balbier as she also had the pressure of ‘The Dress’. Turns out, she made that ‘dresses’ and who can blame her, it was inevitable and completely justified!

This is probably one of the longest write-ups I’ve done for a real wedding here on the blog, but there was so much detail and as you can see below it was a very elegant and glamorous wedding, with beautiful film photography from Polly Alexandre.

Charlotte and Teddy met in 2011 and were engaged quite soon after meeting “Of course as a couple we discussed getting married.  I am quite particular about what I like so I managed to persuade Teddy into letting me see the ring he’d bought which was beyond amazing!  Teddy’s proposal was meant to be on a romantic walk with our dog but it ended up being at home. He was very sweet, straight from the heart and romantic!”

The couple chose photographer Polly Alexandre who I have worked with a number of times, and I’m always blown away by the images that she produces, so it’s amazing to share her work on the blog.

DESIGNER STYLE

As I mentioned, it would be an almost impossible decision for a bridal designer to choose just one dress for their own wedding, so Charlotte decided on two gowns, for the day and evening. Both dresses were designed by her and with a little help from her Mother, bridal designer Amanda Wyatt – her ivory silk organza ball gown, with lace sleeves and large bow sash, ‘The Charlotte’ and A line, fitted french lace and Champagne satin evening dress ‘Iscoyd Park’ now a popular part of her 2015 collection named after their beautiful venue.

“Designing my own wedding dress was one of the hardest things I have had to do. It took me well over a year as I changed my mind several times and had over 15 gowns that were ‘nearly the one’. The 2 gowns that I wore I designed only a few months before the actual wedding. My Mum was such a great help and support as she gave me guidance and direction when I had many a melt down about my dresses! I knew it was the one instantly though as I felt like me, did not want to take it off and felt genuine emotion. My evening gown was all very last minute as I found the lace only in mid October and it was love at 1st sight with the lace. I designed the gown around the lace and luckily it all turned out perfectly. I did have some just in case stand by evening gowns though too!”

For her daytime bridal style, Charlotte accessorised with shoes from Freya Rose and a bag from Beloved Bridal and a bespoke cathedral length silk veil from Joyce Jackson then switching to an art deco inspired head band designed by Amanda Wyatt to compliment Charlotte’s ring. As it was December, a much needed finishing touch to her outfit was a marabou feather wrap which was borrowed from her own Grandmother.

For the very dapper groom, Teddy wore a custom made suit by Hugo Boss with Jeffrey West Shoes and a shirt and tie from Thomas Pink. His groomsmen all wore suits and ties from Marks & Spencer

Charlotte’s ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’ inspired eight adult bridesmaids were lucky enough to have a different bespoke gown designed by Charlotte for each of them. “I wanted each bridesmaid to wear a gown that was perfect for them, their figure, style and personality and for them to feel utterly fabulous. Every gown was in midnight Blue and was made from chiffon fabric but each design was very different. They all wore midnight Blue marabou fur wraps. Each maid also wore a pearl and diamante cuff by Amanda Wyatt they wore midnight blue lace shoes with matching lace clutch from Rainbow Club that were dyed to match the gowns.

She also had two fairy-tale princess  flower girls, who she designed dresses for, with matching sash oversized bows and wore bows by Nettinukins and held bunny bears instead of bouquets.

All the girls got ready in the onsite rooms at Iscoyd Park, with a very talented team of hair and make-up artists which made for a very busy morning of beautifying! Charlotte’s make-up was by Sarah Brock with hair by Harry John.

THE CEREMONY

Charlotte and Teddy decided on a Church wedding, and the picturesque location of Whitewall Church was just a few minutes drive from the venue. During the ceremony they had two readings, by Charlotte’s stepfather and by Teddy’s sister, which was from their favourite book, ‘Guess How Much I Love You’. She also gave copies of the books as gifts to her two flower girls! At the ceremony, they added some sweet touches such as ‘kissing bells‘ with a poem on for the crowd to ring once they were announced as husband and wife and petal confetti for guests to shower them with from Shropshire Petals. In case of any ‘happy tears’ they had a basket with vintage handkerchiefs too for guests!

“The church we wanted to keep the style in keeping with the church and its heritage. We chose a simple colour palette of Ivory and Green’s with the whole church lit by candlelight. It was so romantic. This was done by Selena Godsall

THE RECEPTION

After the ceremony, guests arrived at Iscoyd Park, with a candlelit entrance and a festive wreath style floral arrangement on the door as they were welcomed in from the cold.

“After over a year of searching and over 30 venues later I had given up all hope of finding ‘the one’. I had seen a lingerie shoot in a photographers book and loved it. When working with this photographer I asked him about the shoot and he said the location was also a wedding venue and I would love it. I called them that very moment and we went to view it that weekend….. as soon as we walked inside I knew it was the one.”

Guests enjoyed Champagne served in coupe glasses and canapés whilst listening to acoustic music from the gypsy-style band. The incredibly creative team at Red Floral created a glamorous ‘escort wish tree’ where personalised tags were hung by ribbons for guests to have fun locating their table for the dinner. The tree was a real focal point during the reception which guests enjoyed discovering and with bauble candles and masses of fresh flowers it created a beautiful and ambient statement in the room.

THE MARQUEE & DINING

The on-site marquee was the heart of the wedding, and very much the vision of Charlotte’s own style brought to life by Red Floral. As we invited guests into the room, there was hush except for ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as they took in the incredible atmosphere, it took a while to get everyone seated as they were just taking it all in for so long! “When guests entered the marquee each table had a server with the number held up (American style) guests loved this. I bucked tradition with allot of my choices and it worked well.”

Teddy absolutely loved every detail and I am lucky as he loved the colours I chose. For me it’s all about the detail and I planned every single detail to be executed perfectly. All the guests loved how from the moment they arrived at the church they were greeted with surprises, attention to detail and how well they were looked after. I like to always ensure people who are guests of mine or ours whether it is work or pleasure are always looked after. I tried to think of everything so every guest felt special.”

The room exuded decadence and glamour in her brands signature colours of nudes, gold and a lot of pink! Pink and gold chandeliers were installed and were adorned with flowers to create impact, along with the decadent floral displays, hundreds of candles were lit to provide a cosy and romantic atmosphere and for each table was styled differently, with table linens sourced by Charlotte from her own dress fabric suppliers which added such personality and style to the room. The top table was dressed with a stunning arrangement of flowers, masses of candles and a fabric pattern backdrop hung with pretty mirrors to create an enchanting focal area in the marquee.

“Red Floral transformed the marquee into a magical wonderland dressed with Chandeliers adorned with flowers, as well as walls of mirrors and hundreds of candles.   Having so many props amongst the wedding flowers can enhance the overall theme of the flowers.”

Another focal point was the amazing bespoke 4 tiered cake by Cakes by Krisanthi.  “I worked closely with Krisanthi and she created my dream cake, it was so beautiful. It was 4 tiers of a very soft nude pink shade with delicate polka dots and handmade sugar flowers. They were painted in gold leaf, pinks and ivory hues with our C&E crest as the main feature. The cake was placed on its own table that was decorated with fresh flowers and candles.”

At each place setting, guests had custom pink napkins tied into bows, and a heart-shaped box of Charbonnel truffles. Coloured glassware and vintage wine glasses added to the glamorous style of the dining room setting.

The bridal party were announced into the room to appropriate and fun songs and to a cheer from all the guests and then Charlotte and Teddy made their big entrance! Then guests were treated to catering by Vanilla In Allseasons with a trio of soups, fillet of beef and then the most decadent dessert table which in fact was a whole room of treats! Tea and coffee was served in pretty vintage china with mini-crackers and whole array of sweets and over fifteen styles of desserts such as mini eton mess, jars of sticky toffee pudding, heart shaped brownies, and biscuits adorned with their wedding crest and initials were all beautifully arranged amongst flowers and props for a striking and delicious display!
The Evening Party

In the evening, Charlotte slipped into her more second dress, a fitted gown, and teamed it with a killer pair of gold Jimmy Choo’s and the ‘Annie’ clutch bag from Vintage Styler and added a feminine bespoke hair flower again from Amanda Wyatt.

As the marquee was very much styled by Charlotte, Teddy’s role was arranging the entertainment, music and lighting.  As guests relaxed after the meal, they were entertained by magician, Steve Faulkner, before the gypsy-style band started performing who got everyone on the dance floor. ‘Love’ lights lit up the bar area, whilst the in-house mixologist created three bespoke cocktails that the couple chose which were named after their dogs and were dressed with some fun decorations from The Sweet Hostess!

The music started at 6pm and everyone was dancing until 1am! The first DJ set was some classic disco, followed by one of the couples favourite DJs, Graeme Park. “For the last set of the night we went back to my old Skool roots with the legend DJ Graeme Park who made the Hacienda famous and is still a legend.  This was one of the highlights for me as I was (in my day) a Hacienda girl and a regular in Ibiza. Still go to Ibiza now but the chilled side of the Island!”

I’m rather exhausted writing this feature as there was just so much incredible detail to the day, but so lovely to remember back to such a fun and beautiful day. Congratulations Charlotte and Teddy, and happy one year anniversary! Thanks also to Polly Alexandre for letting us share the beautiful photography.

Modern Vintage Romantic Wedding Shoot – Chosen Wedding Fair

INSPIRATION, Design & Decor, DIY, Florals, Food & Drink, PLANNING, Events Calendar

Modern Vintage Styled Romantic Inspired Wedding Shoot by Paola De Paola

Whilst we’re used to seeing lots of ‘vintage’ inspired wedding shoots, I love the fun fresh style to this shoot that puts a more modern spin on the whole styling. This shoot was the brain child of photographer Paola de Paola and Lauren of French Made with Curious Fair and Chosen Wedding stepping on board to bring things together further.

The project was a collaboration with talented friends and suppliers who are exhibitors at the upcoming Chosen Wedding Fair which will take place on Sunday 27th April at Islington Assembly Hall.

“With the idea of showcasing a contemporary styled vintage wedding – the style of Chosen Wedding Fairs – we hope that the images show the unique, bespoke and fresh ideas that are on offer from these and more talented suppliers who are part of the Chosen family, as well as the fun, freedom and exhilaration that two people share on their wedding day.”

The shoot that took place at alternative wedding venue, a Victorian warehouse Brixton East showcases a modern vintage romantic ‘secret wedding’ which offers a fresh approach just like the Chosen Wedding Fair aims to do. “We really wanted to show how contemporary styling could bring a different look or edge to a vintage styled wedding, offering an alternative fresh look to what is already lovely, but may have been done before. Finding Brixton East was a fantastic part of the journey in planning the shoot, the brickwork walls, wooden flooring and rustic feel set the perfect backdrop for the playful ‘secret wedding’ shoot bursting with colour, excitement and a lot of tiny details to bring the wow factor to life.”

Curious Fair who also style the Chosen Wedding Fair’s event interior design – set chose a very romantic pink and pastel colour palette interspersed with glitter and sequins giving it a contemporary Art Deco vibe – something that the venue for our April fair encapsulates at the Deco built Assembly Hall in Islington. They also created geometric shape decorations placed throughout the sequinned tablescape. They created a couple of Art Deco inspired headdresses made from upcycled jewellery.

French Made owner Lauren combines her French background and love for fantastic tasting and high quality food with her now London based eclectic, rustic and vintage inspired style, they will be exhibiting with Chosen Wedding Fair in October.

Paola is a London based photographer who’s style of work encapsulates Chosen Wedding Fair’s vision – bringing to life contemporary but with a vintage style twist, you van meet Paola on April 27th and October 19th.

The Chosen Wedding Fair was created in 2012 by a frustrated bride-to-be, and has steadily been growing as it aims for a fresh and fun way to discover and design your own unique personalised wedding. Chosen work very hard to handpick each exhibitor and they are fortunate enough to showcase excellent talent from bespoke designer makers and vintage aficionados in the surrounding area.

Their upcoming London event is held at Islington Assembly Hall on Sunday April 27th and also later in the year on October 19th 2014. To find out more information or to book tickets visit their website: www.chosenwedding.com

Her Lovely Heart – Candy Inspiration Shoot at Aynhoe Park

Her Lovely Heart Wedding Photography - Candy Inspiration Shoot at Aynhoe Park

Following on from my behind the scenes post, I’m excited to be sharing the full ‘Candy’ inspiration shoot by the team at Her Lovely Heart which I co-ordinated and styled with them.

The shoot took place at the decadent venue, Aynhoe Park in Oxfordshire, and it was such a wonderful day to be a part of, with so many talented wedding photographers from Her Lovely Heart and an inspiring creative team all using their incredible skills to bring the concept to life. For me, co-ordinating and styling inspiration shoots can be a lot of work but they are so rewarding, especially when you are lucky to work with such a great team.

Rather than stick to one theme and style, we wanted to make sure the photographers got a chance to play around a bit so we produced three themes as part of the shoot, Candy, Romantic and Glitter. The first of which I’m sharing with you on London Bride alongside the Her Lovely Heart blog.

Each theme was based around an initial creative nail art design, and from this we translated the concept through each look.

We wanted the ‘Candy’ theme to be sugary but grown up, playful but elegant and of course with little sprinkles of colour….sweet but not sickly! The nail look created by Georgie for this was a fun take on the french manicure with a colourful pink base teamed with a contrasting mint green tip, a great look for a bride wanting something a little more playful and modern.

This concept was brought to life with the sleek silhouette of the dress which balanced against the bold feature of a bright pink lip, and alluring eyes. A cheeky pop of colour was also brought in with a pair of glamorous heels and the ombre effect of the flowers in the bouquet softened the look with varying hues of pink tied up with the prettiest ribbons. For a playful element, we added a giant colourful balloon which, just like candy, can’t help but bring on a child-like state of mind.

You can see the initial concept for the theme over on the Her Lovely Heart Candy Pinterest board

Her Lovely Heart Wedding Photographers - Behind The Scenes - Inspiration Shoot at Aynhoe Park

I’m very excited to share with you something that I’ve been working behind the scenes on. I co-ordinated and styled a creative wedding inspiration shoot at Aynhoe Park with the fantastic team at Her Lovely Heart, who are a brand new UK based wedding photographer agency, which has been created by renowned wedding photographer, Marianne Taylor.

The concept behind Her Lovely Heart is to manage and represent wedding photographers [that’s Adam, Liz, Nick and Sophie] so that they are able to spend more time on developing their craft and doing the things they love about photography, and less time on areas such as marketing, admin, accounting and paperwork – which let’s face it as business owners it can be as much work as doing the job itself!

The shoot came about as Marianne Taylor has for a few years teamed up with the talented florist Steph from Fairynuff Flowers to do a mini inspiration shoot to get the creative juices flowing. This year, however it got a little bigger [well, actually much bigger] as it was a great opportunity for all the photographers at Her Lovely Heart to all come together to shoot, create, and play with a little added creative styling, stunning backdrops and some rather beautiful muses.

We created three loose themes for the HLH team to shoot [we don’t do things by halves!] which were; Candy, Romantic and Glitter, all of which were based around the concept of a creative nail art design which was then translated into each look across all the elements such as the flowers, the make up, hair and overall styling.

We were fortunate enough to work with an amazing team of talented wedding suppliers and designers [see below credits] who helped translate the concept into reality. Amanda + Tim – Midsummer Night’s Dream St Paul’s Wedding

WEDDINGS, Elegant

Amanda and Tim had a ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ St Paul’s wedding in the city. Classic and romantic the couple had an enchanting day, at the very special St Paul’s Cathedral followed by Skinner’s Hall with the bride Amanda enthralling the ethereal Titania.

Whilst I know some of you are here to look at the pretty pictures [which they are of course thanks to Dasha Caffrey] however I do encourage you to read the details on their wedding day too – I always find the stories of ‘London Brides’ so very meaningful…

Amanda chose a beautiful wedding dress by Temperley which was in fact a dress she’d had her eye on for over a year before she got engaged! “I first saw my dress while shopping with my mother-in-law for her own wedding dress 18 months before (we got engaged on the same day).  When I came to find a dress a year later Temperley still had the dress much to my delight.”

She teamed the dress with a beautiful veil lace edged veil which was the perfect addition for a wedding in the grand St Paul’s Cathedral. She also wore an utterly gorgeous pair of ivory lace peep toe shoe-boots from Harriet Wilde – the Chantilly.

You may also notice the bridesmaids killer heels in that gorgeous peach colour to match their neutral outfits which were by Pied a Terre at Topshop. Amanda had spotted the girls dresses online from the Joy boutique – “I sent the link to my three bridesmaids who luckily also loved the dress.  For the jackets we went on a shopping marathon along Oxford St and right at the end of the day found the right one in Coast. Ros Osterman altered each dresses to make them slightly different and to fit the girls perfectly.”

Amanda and Tim were married at St Paul’s Cathedral – a very special place to be able to have a wedding in London but it was also very significant for the couple personally in many ways,  “We were lucky enough to get married at the OBE Chapel of St Paul’s Cathedral due to Tim’s father (Sir Richard Francis), who was knighted for his work with the British Council.  Sadly, Richard passed away when Tim was just eight, and so this was an important way to remember him.  The chapel is a surprisingly intimate setting and includes the tombs of Sir Christopher Wren, Sir Joshua Reynolds and Sir John Everett Millais, which for an art historian was such an honour.  However, for us, the most special part of getting married in the OBE chapel was being married by Mother Sarah.  She is such a calm and lovely person, who helped us both in the in the lead-up to and during our wedding day.”

“Tim and I wanted an informal and relaxed look for both the flowers and decoration of each venue.  Therefore Skinner’s Hall was decorated with tea lights, ribbons, rustic flowers (in pink and purple), and hand-made stationary. Our flowers were decided upon with the help of Sam at Violets & Velvet who patiently helped us during our initial meeting.  Sam suggested including fresh herbs in the bouquets and table arrangements which smelt wonderful.  Also as I am half Scottish and we met at Edinburgh University we also included thistles in the table decorations.”

Having a central London wedding can sometimes meaning compromising on location and not having any outdoor space, however they came across the perfect location where they could enjoy the best of both worlds and what a lovely day it was for them to make the most of it “Tim and I fell in love with Skinners Hall instantly, having spent months searching.  The venue was perfect with its different interior/exterior spaces that allowed guests to dance, drink, eat, chill out or just watch from the big central staircase (a surprise hit)!” Looks like the guests were all enjoying the fountain roof garden!

It was clearly a very special day for Amanda and Tim, but a few were very poignant “Our exchange of vows and the choir singing Ave Maria during the service.  Then in the evening, my dad’s band, “The Magic Pandas”, really upped the tempo – at the end of the night having all our nearest and dearest on the dance floor signing Bohemian Rhapsody, and then Ho Hey (Lumineers) at the top of their lungs.”

Amanda’s planning tip “The scheduling of the day is so important; we tried to make sure there were no periods of time when guests’ were hanging around.  We also printed a schedule of the day so everyone knew where they were to be and when.  I wish we had realised earlier that you shouldn’t try and do everything yourself, delegation is key to survival!”

Congratulations Amanda and Tim on a beautiful day and with thanks to the talented photographer, Dasha Caffrey for sharing it with us.
